“Steve and I found Yeqing by looking through the Adelaide’s photographers facebook page. We were looking for someone who was raw and artistic without being influenced by current and mainstream fashions. We had looked at dozens of ‘professional’ photographers and honestly we did not like any of them, their prices were quite high and we could not see ourselves paying for something that did not have us believing in the first instance. After getting the idea to find a freelance photographer someone who still had passion, we came across Leaf Lin Photography. And although there weren’t many shots of people the way Yeqing captured the beauty of nature captivated us. We didn’t contact her right away but did the next day as we both agreed we wanted to meet with her. We were informed that this was going to be her first wedding but that did not bother us at all, we could tell that Yeqing was ready to go. The way you directed us into more natural and less set up positions and waiting for the perfect shot made the experience enjoyable. You ran around, I barely seen you but you got amazing shots. “I found Yeqing through Gumtree, whilst searching for a photographer for my 21st Birthday party. Although she hadn’t had any party experience at the time, her other wedding, portrait and nature photographs were gorgeous, so I had faith that I could get some wonderful photos. After sending an enquiry, I got a very fast response, which was much appreciated since I had left everything to the last minute. On the night, she was absolutely brilliant. She was very friendly, and just went around taking tons of set shots, as well as lots of candid shots. I was incredibly impressed and grateful that she allowed me the opportunity to get a photo with each of my party guests, even staying a little over to help me do so. I was super excited when my photos arrived, and was not let down at all. All of her shots were beautiful and I knew I had chosen the right person. I found the price absolutely fantastic, especially given the hours of shooting and the fact that I received all of the photos taken, as well as some edited ones. It was far beyond what I had expected, and I am still so thankful. I was also able to experience her work again, as one of my best friends also decided to use her for his 21st, and I was even more impressed with the shots there.
